Accomodation

As an exchange student, you will receive help from the university to arrange accommodation. You must simply state in your application to the university that you want housing to be arranged for you. Remember that if you turn down an offer, neither the University nor the Student Union can help you to arrange accommodation.

If you are a Master student
, you will need to find accommodation on your own. However, first of all you must contact the International Coordinator at the university who will give you all the information you need on how to proceed.  Remember to apply for housing as early as possible.

If you are coming here as a freemover, you also need to find your accommodation on your own. Note that in this case, the university cannot help you. You therefore need to contact the landlord or housing company by yourself to apply for an accommodation.

For more information, see the International Office website

Temporary Housing

Sometimes there is a gap between your arrival to the university and the date you get your room or apartment. As a master student or freemover, you are therefore entitled to apply for temporary housing. Note that there are a limited number of rooms, and students who receive late letters of acceptance from the school are given first priority.

Temporary housing is a simple accommodation where you often share a room with a couple of students. You can stay there for a few days or weeks until you get your accommodation. Please contact the Student Union if you are in need of temporary housing.
